See them coming…

Help us spread the word

We’re always looking at new ways in which to continue to spread the word about trickery often used by psychics and mediums while being passed off as supernatural ability. If you are interested in helping us engage with people then please read on…

On the streets outreach

If you are interested in using Project Barnum resources to engage with people visiting psychic shows or similar then feel free to get in touch. You can read about some people who did similar here, and see the results they got. It’s better to do this sort of outreach work in a small group rather than alone.

Get in touch if you’re interested, and someone will email you back with further details.

  1. Hi,

Sally Morgan is coming to The Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe on February 7th. Was this one of the theaters that you had contacted in last years campaign?
I’ve checked and I can’t see an “Entertainment purposes only” disclaimer for Sally Morgans appearance.

  2. Hi Hayley,

I’ve been following the podcasts for a while now and find them refreshing and informative. Keep up the good work.

One thing really annoyed me a week or so back, I was in Whitley Bay for New Year ans was walking past the Playhouse with my wife when we saw posters for Derek Acorah advertising his “True Vision Tour”, no mentions anywhere about entertainment only on the posters, just some guff about his “Sincere delivery” and how his readings have “brought comfort and understanding”. I can’t understand how he can get away with it.

I did wonder how easy it would be to organise a few hundred skeptics to buy tickets for one of these events, pack the hall and then demand money back because they had all been misled. It would certainly create a stir and would be worth the £17.50 just to see the reactions. I bet he wouldn’t see that one coming.

    Regards

    Pete Scott
